The cheapest Mandarin Oriental is in Jakarta, at a typical $130 a night for its entry room. The priciest is on Lake Como, at $3,240, where the entry room is a junior suite. That is a spread of nearly twenty-five times across one brand, and the median Mandarin Oriental sits at $925 a night. We track 36 Mandarin Oriental hotels and price each one directly, a year ahead; 35 have priced enough of the coming year to rank. This is all 35, as of 30 September 2026, with the range across the year and the month that lands lowest at each.

How the ranking works

Each Mandarin Oriental page on Fermata opens on one room, the entry category, with its forward price curve across the next twelve months. The typical night below is the average of that curve, the same figure the hotel page states first and the same one on the Mandarin Oriental brand page. The range is the lowest and highest nightly rate on the curve. The cheapest month is the month whose typical rate sits lowest among the months still ahead, and the percentage beside it is how far below the hotel's usual level that month runs. Where no percentage is shown, the difference is small.

Two things to hold in mind while reading. Rates are for two adults, in US dollars, as each hotel quotes them; some include taxes and fees and some do not, and each hotel page says which. And the ranking compares the room each page opens on, so a hotel whose entry room is a suite, as on Lake Como or in Marrakech, sits higher than a city hotel whose entry room is a standard king. Three are seasonal resorts, Bodrum, Costa Navarino and Lago di Como, and their curves cover only the months they open.

The thirteen ranked in Asia Pacific have a median of $523 a night. In Hong Kong, The Landmark runs $728 against Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong at $787. Switzerland has two as well, in different cities: Geneva at $1,017 and the Savoy in Zurich at $1,453.

When each Mandarin Oriental is cheapest

How to use this

Start with the region and the price band that fit the trip, then the month. If your dates can move, moving them is worth the most at the eight hotels whose cheapest month runs 30 percent or more below their usual rate, and worth little at a hotel like Wangfujing that prices the same all year. Then open the hotel's page, pick the exact room you want rather than the one it opens on, read that room's curve for your dates, and set a target on it. We email you when that room reaches your price.
