Every Shangri-La Ranked by Nightly Rate, Cheapest to Priciest

All 64 priced Shangri-La hotels ranked by nightly rate, from Baotou and Surabaya at $69 to Paris at $1,934, with the cheapest month at each.

Tokyo Station's red-brick Marunouchi building lit up at night, its domes glowing beneath the office towers of Marunouchi, with the station plaza and its tree-lined paths below.
Tokyo Station at night, beside Shangri-La Tokyo, at a typical $843 a night for its entry room. The brand runs from $69 in Baotou and Surabaya to $1,934 in Paris.

The cheapest Shangri-La costs $69 a night: two of them do, in Baotou in Inner Mongolia and in Surabaya in Indonesia. The priciest is Shangri-La Paris, at a typical $1,934 for its entry room, twenty-eight times as much. The median Shangri-La sits at just $146 a night, far below the luxury brands it is usually compared with, because thirty of the sixty-four ranked hotels are in mainland China. We track 65 Shangri-La hotels and price each one directly with Shangri-La; 64 are ranked here, as of 2 October 2026, with the range across the coming months and the month that lands lowest at each.

How the ranking works

Each Shangri-La page on Fermata opens on one room, the entry category, with its forward price curve. The typical night below is the average of that curve, the same figure the hotel page states first and the same one on the Shangri-La brand page. The range is the lowest and highest nightly rate on the curve. The cheapest month is the month whose typical rate sits lowest among the months ahead, and the percentage beside it is how far below the hotel's usual level that month runs. Where no percentage is shown, the difference is small.

Every figure is Shangri-La's member rate for two adults, in US dollars, before taxes; the member rate is open to anyone who joins Shangri-La Circle, which is free. The ranking compares the room each page opens on, so a resort whose entry room has a sea view sits higher than a city hotel whose entry room is a standard king.

When each Shangri-La is cheapest

October is the single most common answer, cheapest at thirteen of the sixty-four, followed by November at twelve and January at ten. Across the brand the month barely matters: the median property's typical night stays between $137 and $154 in every month ahead.

At the typical Shangri-La the cheapest month runs 16 percent below the hotel's usual level, but ten run 30 percent or more below it. Yanuca Island in Fiji is 46 percent cheaper in February, Huhhot 45 percent cheaper in October, and Sanya on Hainan and Dubai 44 percent cheaper in October and June. Both Harbin hotels, Rasa Sayang on Penang, The Marina in Cairns, Qaryat Al Beri and Eros New Delhi each run 31 to 33 percent below in their cheapest month.

How to use this

Start with the city and the price band that fit the trip, then the month. If your dates can move, moving them is worth the most at the ten hotels whose cheapest month runs 30 percent or more below their usual rate, and worth much less where the cheapest month sits only a few percent below. Then open the hotel's page, pick the exact room you want rather than the one it opens on, read that room's curve for your dates, and set a target on it. We email you when that room reaches your price.
